Golf Ball Grades Explained
Every ball we sell is cleaned and sorted into one of three grades by condition, so you know exactly what you are buying.
Our three grades
Every ball is cleaned and graded by condition. One simple price per ball for each grade – the same whether you buy a set pack or build your own box.
Grade A 75p a ball
Excellent condition, as close to new as possible.
Clean, bright white balls with no cuts, scuffs or discolouration. You may spot the faintest trace of use, but they look and play like new.
Grade B 60p a ball
Very good condition with light signs of use.
Light cosmetic marks such as small scuffs, pen marks or player logos. No cuts or damage that affects play.
Grade C 50p a ball
Good, playable balls with visible wear.
More noticeable marks, scuffs or slight discolouration. Ideal for practice, the range or tricky water holes.
Common questions
What is a recovered golf ball?
A ball that has been lost on a course or in a lake and then recovered, cleaned and sorted. Recovered balls are genuine branded balls, not copies.
Is the price the same for every model?
Yes. You pay one price per ball for each grade, whether it is a Pro V1 or a DT Solo, and whether you buy a set pack or a Mix & Match box.
